Same Sex Marriages

New York State has joined the ranks with other progressive states who have legalized same sex marriage. It is a victory for many Interfaith Ministers who have the philosophy and belief in never instead of, but in addition too.

There are many who are ready to mark this historica day by embarking on the celebration with events, parties and the like. Among them is Hudson Valley Ceremonies, a wedding event company located in Rhinebeck, New York.

On July 26th & 27th, 2011 - Hudson Valley Ceremonies will be providing a two day special same sex wedding elopement event. At multiple locations all over the Hudson Valley, wedding officiants will be performing personalized wedding ceremonies for same sex couples. Officiants will be available from 9am - 9pm, with appointments being set.

Locations for these ceremonies will be in Rhinebeck, Beacon, New Paltz, Kingston, and at the Ashokan Reservoir. Couples will need to do a few things in order to get married on these days. Each couple will need to make a reservation with Hudson Valley Ceremonies, obtain a marriage license from any town hall in New York State more than 24 hours before their wedding date and time and bring two witnesses. Hudson Valley Ceremonies will be designing custom ceremonies for each couple. Photographers will be available at each location. Other options available will be flowers, music and even mini cakes.
